Welcome Touch_stand alone

CODE OF CONDUCT

I offer a welcoming space where you can explore the benefits of platonic touch safely and at your own pace.

To make this possible, I ask clients to agree to the following code of conduct:

• The client must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age may be requested.

The practitioner will keep the client’s details completely confidential.

The client and the practitioner must be free of the influence of drugs or alcohol during the session. This makes true consent possible.

The client is asked to disclose any mental or physical health conditions that could affect their needs and experiences in the session. Platonic touch therapy does not replace any medical provision.

Both the client and the practitioner will attend the session clean and in clean clothing, and avoid wearing strong-smelling products (aftershave, perfume, hairspray, body lotion, spray deodorant, etc.).

The client and the practitioner agree to communicate their personal boundaries and honour each other’s personal boundaries, before, during and after the session. Wherever needed, the practitioner will offer guidance on how to do this.

Either the client or the practitioner may end the session at any time.

Please note: this form of touch therapy is a platonic (not sexual) experience. Neither the client nor the practitioner will attempt to experience or create sexual arousal during the session.

In detail:

  • Both the client and the practitioner will wear comfortable outer clothes (not clothes designed as underwear) that cover at least the T-shirt area and upper legs.
  • If the client needs to change clothes, this will be done in a private area.
  • There will be no hand contact on areas typically covered by a swimsuit, and no intentional stimulation of these areas, e.g. by movement of legs.
  • There is to be no contact with the other person’s saliva.

Thank you for your cooperation in making the session safe, nourishing and uplifting!
